Lambeth Academy Visit Downing Street
On Friday 25th November Lambeth Academy Assistant Principal Ennelyn Schmidt Roberts took 7 year 11 students to no.10 Downing Street for a guided tour of the house. Francesca, George, Miayah, Saylie, Cory, Ferlondo, Alice and Ennelyn had a great morning and our students were fantastic ambassadors for the academy.
The Prime Minister's event manager told the students many anecdotes, showed them all the gifts from Royals and world leaders and let them sit in the Prime MInister's chairs within the house. They held an autographed book by J F Kennedy and were shown a massive globe received as a present from Francois Mitterand.

"My message to our students was clear. They have now already sat in the Prime Minister's chair, there is no reason why they cannot become the next Prime Minister.
